CHARACTER INFORMATION Name: Ellistree Moonshadow Canon: Warcraft Character Type: Canon OC Age: 21 Gender: Female Species: Half Elf(Kaldorei)/Troll (Darkspear) Appearance:
Ellistree at first glance is just like any Kaldorei female warrior. She's tall (7'5"), well built (255lbs athletic build), sleek form albeit a bit above average as far as female endowment goes. She has long ivory hair that reaches her lower back. Her skin looks the dark blue of nightfall, fair to the touch and unblemished. Her eyes have an ivory glow that varies in brightness depending on mood or task (they don't stand out when she's hunting.).
But there's a few things that make her stand out. Her ears are wider than most Kaldorei, and at her lower jaw you notice, mainly when she laughs out loud or roars, that her lower fangs are larger than normal, like small tusks.
She carries herself with confidence, although she prefers running around in her feline form, seeing her in her humanoid for is rare in any of the main cities or the wilds.
Canon Point: Post Cataclysm, in the midst of Mists of Pandaria
Background:
Ellistree was born of Sharres Moonshadow, one of the Moonshadow Twins from Dolanar, and Kagejin Oliviera, one of the children under Grandmaster Marcus' care. Their meeting had been chanced, young Kagejin out on a recon mission and finding himself unable to dispatch of the twins.
A few encounters later, the three became close friends. Time leading into a more personal and intimate relationship between the three but Kagejin eventually settling with the younger of the twins.
Ellistree was fierce, confident and independent since a young age. Being one of the few in the group of younglings to take charge and protect the rest as well as being one of the ones always getting them into dangerous situations due to her adventurous ways.
Her carefree, nature loving demeanor developed even more when it was discovered that she was very talented in the druidic arts, more specialized in the feral aspects of nature. She quickly became adept and soon began to take part in many of the wars that plagued Azeroth.
Even with her stance on not taking sides, Ellistree became well known throughout the alliance as one of the most competent retrieval specialists, as well as a fierce combatant in the fields. Her dangerous missions and accomplishments allowed her to rise up the ranks of the Alliance military and become a Grand Marshal at a young age.
Her level head and complete unbiased opinions made her one of the more rational officers when it came to the war on Outlands, Northrend and the most recent Cataclysm as both sides needed to work together regardless of their rivalries. She then managed to acquire many victories throughout her campaign as an officer, as well as crushing defeats... But that never tied her down as she always got back up fiercer and more confident than ever.
After the war on the Cataclysm, Ellistree had finally decided that she'd retire for the time being. She was looking to raise a family of her own, hoping that this little sliver of peace would last for much longer than usual.
That however turned into another mission with the discovery of a new continent and... new strife. Ellistree took it upon herself to lead new groups from a more mentor mentality than as a part of either of the military heading towards new lands. She'd make sure she did her best to keep people from both sides from tearing at each other. They did not need more war in Azeroth, the world itself had suffered greatly recently and needed time to heal. She needed time to heal.
Personality:
Ellistree is fierce, playful, independent, confident, flirtatious and very much care free. Nature is her calling and she does as she pleases. Concepts such as personal space, privacy, modesty, nudity, intimacy don't work the same way for her as 'normal' society would.
She loves to tease and if there's something or someone interesting, she'll try her best to get to know them as best she can, including but not limited to being all up in their space, be it as her humanoid form, or her feline form. She'd use her bear form as well if the object, or person in question is large enough to handle it.
Ellistree will go to great lengths to achieve a task that has been given to her, or that she's imposed on herself. Hardly one to give up, you'll have a hard time dissuading this female unless you truly show that what she's after, or what she's doing is wrong int he more natural sense.
All in all, Ellistree is a predator. Her instincts come first and she loves to act on them. If she senses fear, she'll play with the target, if she senses valor, she'll flirt, and tease, if she senses interest, or attraction, she'll play on it so that she can see if the person is worthy of a prime alpha female such as her.
Lover of all that is free and natural in the world, Ellistree is as comfortable in her naked body as anyone would be as a child. She can often be seen bathing in natural water sources, or playing around the forests in nothing but her nature given drapes. However, she's often seen in one of her feral forms more often, mostly in her feline form which she prefers over the others.
Ellistree is, for as aggressive and feral as she can be at times, very comforting and motherly. She is often seen taking over and protecting groups that are innocent or can't fend for themselves. This is especially true in times of war or strife.
In intimacy, Ellistree is aggressive, but she prefers a mate, or lover who can contest her nature. Someone who can take control and try and succeed at taming the wild beast that she is. She doesn't mind someone docile, but she'll want them to challenge her, not wanting to dominate them at all times and trying to teach them to be more assertive and confident in themselves.
Powers:
In the Warcraft Universe, Ellistree is a Feral/Restoration druid. She has an assortment of powers based on both the trees she has access to and is specially skilled at the feral one.
As a half breed, she takes pleasure in having both of her parent's heritage and the strengths that come with them as well.
Natural Racial Powers:
- Shadowmeld: When standing near shadows or at night, Ellistree can become invisible as long as she stays in place. Any offensive movement breaks her out of her hiding spot. - Elusiveness, Quickness, Shuffle: She's very agile due to both races natural inclination towards speed and agility. She's faster, more flexible and harder to hit than normal. - Wisp Spirit: Upon death, Ellistree's spirit will become a wisp, able to wander the world in this spirit form until resurrected. - Nature Resistance: Ellistree is naturally resistant against natural and nature based spells or abilities. - Berserking: Ellistree is able to go into a frenzy during combat, making her faster for moderate bursts of time. - Regeneration: Ellistree is able to regenerate. Depending on the gravity of a wound, the time it takes to fully regenerate varies. - Beast Slaying: She is incredibly adept at hunting regardless of the environment. - Flipping out: It's very hard to keep her entangled or slowed for long.
Druidic Powers and Abilities:
- Shapeshifting: Her bread and butter, Ellistree has an assortment of forms that she can change into, each giving her special abilities unique to each form: - Cat Form: Ellistree can shift into a feral cat, gaining the ability to stealth, sprint, pounce, take less damage from heights, and gaining boosts in agility, speed and damage. - Bear form: Ellistree can shift into a dire bear, gaining increased health, stamina, toughness, armor, the ability to charge and stun as well as gain quick regeneration and rage. - Tree of Life Form: Ellistree can shift into a treant from Azeroth, increasing her healing powers exponentially and making her be able to cast faster and more efficiently for a short time. - Aquatic Form: Ellistree can shift into an aquatic creature, allowing her to breathe under water and be able to swim at much faster speeds. - Travel Form: Ellistree can shift into another, more sleek and swift cat form. This one forgoes the strengths of the offensive cat form and focuses on speed, making her much faster than any of the other forms except flight. - Swift Flight Form: Ellistree can shift into a Storm Crow, allowing her to fly at great speeds through the air.
She can shift between any of these forms in an instant barring that there's something impeding her from doing so.
-Druid Spells: Ellistree has an assortment of druidic spells that can be found here. The potency of her arcane spells is rather weak since she never really took a liking or trained them in particular. Her strengths lie in the feral combat form, with the healing spells coming in second.
Items:
If possible, she'll arrive with her Battle Gear and her polearm. Along with a few minor personal belongings like a crest necklace and a few rings.
[Ellistree prowled the dark woods, slowly creeping in on her target. The night was silent, not a creature stirred knowing that the predator was somewhere in the midst... And in an instant, she was upon her prey!]
ROAR!
[The creature trashed this way and that, but soon enough it lay still under the feral cat's powerful jaws. Said cat however, soon turned into a beautiful female, wiping off her face with a damp cloth and smiling at her catch.]
I bet I'll get good coin for you. And you'll be helping feed those who cannot hunt for themselves.
[Kneeling down, Ellistree placed a hand on the creatures face and closed it's eyes.]
Tonight you joined the cycle of life, hunters hunt their prey for many reasons, tonight it's out of both necessity and instinct. Worry not however, in the end hunter's become your kin's food as well, and nutrients for the land.
[Ellistree effortlessly slung the large creature over her shoulders and headed back towards Clock Town. Upon arrival at the gates the guards eye her in shock and amazement, both at the striking exotic beauty, an the overly large creature on her shoulders.]
Good eve guardsmen! Wonderful night for the hunt is it not? I do hope that one of these nights we could hunt together~
[The guards, a bit slackjawed, simply nodded and allowed her entry.]
I'll see you around sweethearts~ Keep up the good work.
[Soon enough she arrived at the designated place, placing the carcass on the large table much to the amazement of the shop owner.]
-Wow! Ho-wow! You caught this all by yourself?! This will make an amazing decoration!-
[And then Ellistree's eye twitched...]
Decoration? A trophy perhaps then? [She asked curiously, hoping that it'd be more than that... and the fact that it'd be a trophy for someone other than the hunter rubbed her off the wrong way.]
-Why yes, of course. It'll be a decoration for the hunter's lodge! It's magnificent!- [The man said excited as he brought out a large pouch of coin... Ellistree however, wasn't all too amused.]
What will you be doing with the meat? The innards?
-Toss them out of course. Need to clean out the beast and prepare it to be able to stay healthy looking.-
[And then Ellistree slung the creature back over her shoulder once more. Glaring at the merchant much to his surprise.]
Very well, I'll handle that myself. I'm a skilled skinner and leather worker. I'll bring it back once it's ready.
[Like hell she'd let such a wonderful creature go to waste. She made sure to use every part of the creature and shared the rather large meal with the less fortunate denizens of Clock Town, returning at a later time with the cleaned carcass, not too happy an expression on her face. Normally she'd forgo bringing it back, but she was in need of coin.]
Thank you kindly sir... Although, for the future, please do honor the creatures and every part of their being. You never know when the tables turn and the hunters... or the non-hunters, become the prey.
[It wasn't a threat of course, but she was more than annoyed at the person behind the desk who now eyed her between intrigue and wariness.]
Prose Sample Old LJ log here! If I need a newer sample, please let me know! Since it's imported it doesn't have the images but luneshalla is me!
Many of Ellistree's worries, even if she'll tell you with a straight face that she has none, lie within insecurity about her heritage. That's not to say she's not proud of who, or what she is, she's very much secure in that regard. But the fact that she's a half breed is already very taxing when she has to deal with the 'civilized' world.
Not often does she let it get to her, but it's very hard for her to keep calm or passive in the face of discrimination, accusation, or people judging her. She would rather hurry out of the area and avoid confrontation seeing as she can be quick to anger.
That being of of the flaws of being half of two very fierce races is her lack of self-restraint. If somehow you managed to push the wrong buttons, the girl has never been able to hold back and this has caused her to harm people she has cared about in the past. Unbeknownst to many, this was one of the factors of her retirement. An incident with a very close friend and lover ended fatally before she could come back to her senses, and ever since then she has beckoned a more relaxed life... Life in Azeroth however doesn't allow for such luxuries.
Unlike some of her peers, Ellistree is fearless in the heart of battle. It's off the battlefields where she feels the most vulnerable. It's really easy to push your feelings aside if you are facing the enemy, it's a much different story when it's just a civilian, let alone a civilian for the faction you are currently working for. Or worked for in this case.
Even so, she does her best to fit in, be the heart of the party, joke, play around and just have fun when she has to venture into a city. And for the most part, she doesn't have to face the things she hates, or fears. Mostly seen as an exotic beauty, at times there's not much other than lecherous cat calls or interested suitors which she politely either flirts with, assesses, or playfully dismisses saying that she's too much for them to handle.
However... there's many times where her heritage is brought into question, many insulting words are tossed at her and her kin and in most locations this occurs she has to grin and bear it, sometimes simply leaving the city without finishing her errands and shedding tears bitterly. Sometimes she wonders why she bothers with such a planet, believing that maybe she should let nature take its course and see if it'll cleanse this world of this filth.
And yet, it's those that do care about her, along with those who are kind to her regardless of who or what she is that she fights for. Often times she'll just retire to nature and prowl around for days in one of her animal forms, feeling that it's much more forgiving than the harsh environment of the mortal races.
Background addition:
In her home and the surrounding areas, Ellistree never had to face or feel discriminated. In fact, the location was quite welcoming and caring, allowing the younglings to play and become friends, simply be themselves. Every now and then they'd scold the adventurous girl for being too aggressive, or reckless, but most understood that this was part of her nature considering her parents.
This however changed once she got to the cities and started a more formal education. Her parents decided that they'd let her choose where she'd want to study and explained both factions thoroughly. They knew she was still young, but she had been keen, wise and smart since a young age and believed she had the right to choose.
Choosing to work and grow up in the Alliance cities that her mother spoke of, Ellistree quickly found herself doubting her decision. It was in the middle of Stormwind, during one of her little escapades that she first came crashing into the reality of her situation.
Many names were spewed in her direction the night that she was cornered by a group of inebriated soldiers, out of the tavern and on their way homes. These were wary, tired soldiers, in the midst of the current conflict and they had their reasons to hate not one one of her races, but both, even with an older kaldorei in the very midst. They had just lost a battle near the Warsong Gulch because their night elven allies didn't arrive in time... much to Ellistree's misfortune.
That night she didn't return home, having been the victim of severe abuse of the likes she had never experienced before. What hurt the most however was the fact that they simply did this because of her heritage, not because of something she did.
This was so ingrained into her memory since then, that she had vowed to make the world change their views on these things. Not only the love and affection that could be had between the races, but the product, such as herself, as well. It would be a long and arduous road, but it was one that she would not give up on.
It was not easy as she grew up, especially with so many obstacles in her way, including, but not limited to the different, unjust treatment she received in most places. But this only made the girl try harder, train, and become stronger, learning both in mind and body.
Her aggressive nature only made things worse, wanting very much to harm those who wronged not only her, but those like her but not wanting to prove them right. Not wanting to be that "feral half breed scum" or that "wild rape baby". She wanted to be respected and prove that she was not only worthy of her place in this world, but that she'd go above and beyond those scumbags that treated others so differently.
The war gave her such an opportunity. In times of peace, people take their time. They do tests, they prove themselves in missions, they spend years in the military rising up the ranks through different menial or standardized missions and tasks.
This however, wasn't the case during the wars that plagues the world. It had been so horrid as of late, that they were losing more troops than the ones they recruited voluntarily. No one wanted to face these horrors and who could blame them? They were always fighting a three-sided war and the casualties were always tremendous.
This is where she came in. A willing troop, fresh out of her full training as a druid and eager to prove herself to the world and the would be doubters. This would be another obstacle-ridden path for Ellistree as the mistreatment faced in the Alliance military was worse than anything she had faced out in the cities. With people so racist that they even hated their allies. It was no wonder that the war was going to hell, and there was no sight of a victory in any direction.
Many times was she abused by her 'comrades' and many times was she dismissed for 'sullying the name' of her peers by the Commanders in charge, and still she stayed strong. She knew that if she gave up now, it would have all been for naught and they would have won. This gave her the strength to not only continue, but to surpass them as well.
Ellistree was the epitome of going above and beyond, taking all the missions people didn't want to take due to risk factors, and participating in all the battlefields that she could be sent to. No matter the dangers, she'd be the first to sign up for them and this is what started grabbing the attention of the more noble Officers, the ones that weren't blind by societal norm and were drive more by duty, honor and sacrifice.
When not in a battlefield, Ellistree also took part in many of the war games that started surfacing in the midst of all the conflict, gaining even more reputation through those. She started being known as the Moonshadow Lightning or the Feral Retriever due to her excelling at recovering items at a quick pace from dangerous locations.
Soon enough Ellistree found herself in the middle of the Hall of Champions, not receiving a medal this time, but a promotion to that of an esteemed officer of the Alliance. Of course not many were too happy about this, but "in times of need people need an example, a hero, someone who comes from hardship and still selflessly sacrifices themselves for the people." as was said by one of the Paladin Officers. Those words she will never forget and to this day are part of her every day life, especially in the fields.
Aquatic Creature definition:
Whateverthisis. I'm not quite sure how to describe it other than a sabertooth sea lion!
Ellistree was less of a troublemaker in the sense that she didn't go out picking fights and stealing, and more in that she was a thrill seeker. Ever since a young age, the half-breed girl loved adventure. Having been born with a natural gift for the druidic arts, Ellistree was already shifting at a young age, using her feline form to sneak around and 'adventure' using her overactive imagination.
She loved the outdoors, and she would take any chance she would get to venture forth and just have fun. The younglings who grew up with her looked up to the girl, usually following her into these silly adventures, or simply playing with the large 'kitten'. However, having been blessed with the gift didn't come with just fun, playtimes and having her be incredibly adept. No, it meant that she'd have to train harder in order to hone and control her powers.
Ellistree, as was very well known, already had a knack for the feral aspects of her powers, learning to master those almost as if it was second nature. This however already spelled out her progression. Being adept at one aspect, meant that it could be harder to pick up on the others. This was something that proved to be true for Ellistree. Her training progressed into the offensive spells of a druid, as would be the natural progression for someone who was adept at the already feral and aggressive aspects of her kin, it was clear that she'd be in the frontlines...
However, this was not the case. Not only was Ellistree very bad at using, or calling on the offensive druid spells, she got increasingly frustrated at the fact that when she could manage them, they were rather weak. This in particular put quite the dampen on her mood in regards to training to the point that she started skipping them in order to have fun and relax with her friends. Trying to balance duty, training and responsibility with her play time was hard for the girl who had a hard time following the rules.
This however changed when one of her riskier ventures turned sour. During one of the times she convinced the younglings to follow her to the mountains so they could play hide and seek, an event occurred that changed her outlook on training once again. Throughout the game, Ellistree had been as rough as usual, using her feline form to track down, and rough up the other kids even though that wasn't part of the game. The other kids had gotten used to this side of her, although many of them didn't like it. But the other option was to make her upset, and that wasn't something they wanted to do. At one particular hiding spot, Elli had tracked down an elven youngling, one of her longer friends, up to a spot with lots of bushes to hide in.
She already knew where he was, all she had to do now was pounce onto him and that would be game! Problem was, she didn't see the cliffside behind all the trees and shrubbery. She pounced, startled the young kaldorei and making him stumble back and over the side. It wasn't a long fall, but it was far enough to severely damage the boy. He lay at the bottom unconscious and Ellistree looked down in horror. I killed him... she thought, horrible images passing through her mind. The disappointment of the elders, of her parents, the thought of not being with her best friend anymore because of her stupidity...
She rushed down the side of the cliff, her feline instincts making it easy until she skidded next to him, already mid-shift into her humanoid form. Ellistree didn't know what to do, she called out, yelled, screamed and beckoned for help. They were in the mountains and it'd be hard for anyone to hear other than the other kids, and it'd take them some time to get the adults to come help them. What could she do? Tears streamed down her face as she held onto his body and she cursed her stupid roughness. It was her fault!
But she was a druid was she not? Couldn't she help him? She quickly wiped at her face and started to focus. She knew that druids had the ability to heal, but she had skipped on that training since she had failed to bring up the offensive spells before and she figured she'd be bad at healing even more. Closing her eyes, she concentrated, trying to remember the things she had been taught, how nature is a part of us all and how it's us druids who can hone and mold the energies of nature to aid us. She called onto the spirits of the forest to help her, she called onto Elune, she called onto the Troll Loa's, she called onto everyone, anything to help her help her friend.
It seemed like an eternity, the times she spent trying to mold the nature healing energies... Until a warm feeling of unity flowed through her and she could feel the embrace of the forest. It was a new feeling, something she hadn't felt before, the green coils that began to form around her hands started to drift onto the boys body, curling, caressing and enveloping his body. She could feel his very essence being hugged and cradled by the natural energies and she could see his chest begin to rise and fall more normally, the breath of life slowly seeping in once again.
She did what she could, she knew that, but she still had much to learn in this particular tree. She held him close, knowing that at least things would be okay for now, quickly shifting into her bear form and dragging him to the village. Of course she got reprimanded, and heavily, but she didn't mind. She knew she deserved it, and had something happened to her friend... she would have asked for worse. But now she had a new path before her and she intended on following through.
The next few months had been focused solely on the healing aspects of a druid. Ellistree had a calling to the healing arts, but not one quite as strong as her natural affinity to the feral aspects. She began to balance out her play time with her studies and training in order to make things work and yet, there was never a lack of trouble making in the area as long as she was around.
As she grew up, she became so in tune with her feral side of her druid training, that she even preferred going through the day and night in one of her druidic forms, in particular, her large feline form. Now an adolescent, the girl was a lot more care free and independent than before, and became quite the heartbreaker. In her eyes, there was really no one good enough for her, at least not unless they could best her in a fight. And that was a task all in itself seeing as she was incredibly skilled in fighting.
Nonetheless, she had a lot of friends who looked up to her, unlike the adults however who had worries about the half breed. Another thing that changed in her later years was her appreciation for her powers. Although she was a natural shapeshifter, Ellistree held her healing prowess close to her heart. It had been something that she worked hard for and if she hadn't been able to develop them, she might have lost a dear and close person to her. She offered her healing freely, often volunteering to the medical camps before she joined the military.

This however, wasn't the case during the wars that plagued the world.
Anything Else?:
/insert comment about how nervous and derp I am every time I try to do something like this.jpg
It's magnificent!-
[The man said excited as he brought out a large pouch of coin...

Reviewed Backstory Points:
Ellistree's first war took place during the opening of Ahn'Qiraj. There had been rumors and then confirmation that the Old God C'thun had been gathering forces behind the old Kingdom of the Quiraji and that prompted both the Alliance and the Horde to take action in order to stop him.
Ellistree was a novice at this point and was very excited to be part of the war. However, her status prevented her from seeing much of the frontlines and was moved to grunt duty, gathering supplies and transportation of goods. Regardless, once the actual war began, the factions took all takers, they would need them against the mighty force of the Quiraji and their Old God Masters. While she didn't take part in the final assault, Ellistree did much in the field itself when fighting against the invasion crystals that teleported the armies nearby major cities and locations of interest.
The next war Ellistree participated in was the assault on Outlands. This time around she had done much battling in smaller skirmishes for resources like the Warsong Gulch vying for lumber, or in the Arathi Basin fighting for the rich resources the lands provided. Outlands proved to be a bit too much still for the newly ranked Corporal as she met with beings she had never encountered before as well as her first taste of the formidable Burning Legion. Even so, she fouth in many of the battlezones down to the last bastion against the dreaded Black Temple. Again, she wasn't allowed to take part in the final assault against Illidan, but she still gave it her all against all odds during this particular war.
It was in the third war she participated on that Ellistree's full potential was unleashed. Having participated in many of the war games, and the arena events, she had managed to gain recognition and had climbed the ranks. Now a Lietenant, Ellistree made her way towards the war in the North against the Scourge and the Lich King. She had failed to assist the war effort against the first invasion of the Necropolis due to injuries she had sustained at the beginning so this time she was aching to prove herself against one of Azeroth's darkest foes.
During this particular war, she took part in the major assault such as the destruction of the dread necropolis Naxxaramas, the discovery and exploration expedition in Ulduar and even took part in the Trial of the Crusader set up by the valiant Argent Crusade, the first vanguard against the forces of the Scourge. While her team wasn't the one to deliver the final blow to the dreaded Lich King, she and her assigned squadron were a part of the initial assault against the dark citadel of Icecrown, the Frozen Throne. Her participation in this war made her recognition soar, even if there still was prejudice against people of her background.
The latest war, prior to the discovery of Pandaria, that Ellistree took part in happened unexpectedly when the Cataclysm occurred. While she hadn't planned to take part in any wars at this time, the destruction brought about by the Dragon Aspect of death was too much for her to sit idly on the sidelines. As such, she took up her mantle and arms and made her way to the frontlines alongside the guild she had been part of during the invasion of Northrend. This war had been devastating to both sides and still... And still the opposing factions made things harder by pitching a third point in the war by fighting each other while fighting a much greater threat.
Ellistree didn't take part in the skirmishes against the Horde both out of respect for former allies and out of annoyance that these factions were acting like children in a time that they should had been banding together to ease their losses and defeat Deathwing sooner. Her part in this war was very tiring and heavy, manning the frontlines as both a recon and stealth specialist as well as a field healer. During this time, she focused more on the tasks that would bring them closer to victory than trying to get recognition. At this point in her life, she had realized that the priorities of either faction didn't lie with the people as she had hoped for many years. It had always been discriminatory grudges to which she wanted no part of.
All in all, she took part in the final assault against Deathwing and managed to survive the encounter in the heart of the Maelstrom to bring peace to Azeroth once again. For the time being anyways. Afterwards, Elli had taken retirement until the announcement that a new continent had been discovered and that they were seeking explorers. Thinking that it would be more about exploring that fighting, Ellistree decided to join this expedition into the mysterious continent of Pandaria.
On her world's prejudice againt halfbreeds:
Azeroth had always been a heavily racist world. Even amongst allies, the friendliness can sometimes be out of convenience specially for such races as the Kaldorei, or Night Elves who had mostly always been rather xenophobic, not trusting the 'lesser' races because of their barbaric ways. (This even included the races of the Alliance.)
That said, the fact that Ellistree was not only a half-elf, but that her other half was with a troll of all things was just outrageous and disgusting to most races, in particular to the Night Elves who had always hated the trolls in particular. Even through all of this, she found more solace within the Horde (Before Garrosh became the Warchief) than she did with the Alliance and yet she had chosen to follow her mother's path and serve within the alliance in an attempt to prove herself in a more hard environment against her kin.
She still monnlighted for the Horde, but most of her mission had always been for the Alliance.

Character HISTORY:

Character PERSONALITY:

[The feed starts with an amused female fiddling about witht he controls before she smiles at you.]
You know, I was sort of wondering when I'd be off in another adventure to another world. Draenor had been interesting to say the least and it opened up the possibility of exploring other worlds and realms as such.
It had always been something that had piqued my interest and what do you know? Exploring a new continent and I end up here. What are the odds hm~?
[Ellistree chuckles lightly before relaxing back against a wall, looking around for a few moments before turning back to the feed.]
Granted... the situation could have been more favorable but... It wouldn't be fun if there wasn't some danger involve and it seems you all have quite a bit of that to go around. In any case, now that I'm here I'll be sure to provide all the assistance I can muster for this fight of yours.
[It's not as if she has much more options. She shrugs and winks before fiddling with the device once more.]
Anyways, I hope to see you all around, those of you who are not native from here. I'd like to know how you feel about all this.
If you need to contact me, I'm Ellistree Moonshadow. I suppose it's a pleasure to meet you all~
[And then the feeds cuts off.]
Third PERSON:
The large saber's paws padded the ground with certainty and yet there was a sort of unease that made Ellistree frown. It wasn't that she was in any immediate danger, she would have sensed it if she was... But there was something about this whole situation that didn't sit right with her. Turning a corner she decided to jump onto a clutter of items and lay down as she looked out into the glum panorama. Definitely not a druid's kind of place...
She let out a small growl akin to a sigh a she rolled over to look at the night sky.
What is it about this place that is making me feel this way? Is it just homesickness? Naw, not this soon. I've been away from home much longer than this... No... I am sure I know what it is... I just don't wish to accept it. This place... is just so barren.
And it was, at least to the level that would make any druid uneasy. It definitely wasn't the dense forests of Ashenvale or the rolling plains of Nagrand. Hell she'd be happy if it was the not-so-barren Barrens! But no, this place full of greys and blacks and dark colors was enough to make the usually energetic girl feel down on the rut.
Frowning and shaking her head, Ellistree rolled back onto her feet and stood stoically, her current feline body looking as powerful as ever as it looked towards the horizon with determination. No, I am Ellistree Moonshadow and I've been through many wars in my short life. I will not bow down or stop moving forward now. I will make myself useful to this world as I did for mine and in the future once all is done I shall return to my own.
With a deep breath, the feral feline let out a resounding roar, a sign of her renewed determination.

Name: Ellistree Moonshadow
Canon: Warcraft
Character Type: Canon OC
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Species: Half Elf(Kaldorei)/Troll (Darkspear)
Appearance:
- Shapeshifting: Her bread and butter, Ellistree has an assortment of forms that she can change into, each giving her special abilities unique to each form:
- Cat Form: Ellistree can shift into a feral cat, gaining the ability to stealth, sprint, pounce, take less damage from heights, and gaining boosts in agility, speed and damage.
Instrument:
Ellistree's instrument will be the panflute.

Prompt #3:

Whatever this is. I'm not quite sure how to describe it other than a sabertooth sea lion!
Revision 2...

Backstory:
This however, wasn't the case during the wars that plagued the world.

It's magnificent!-
[The man said excited as he brought out a large pouch of coin...

Character AGE: Aprox 21
Character ABILITIES:
- Shapeshifting: Her bread and butter, Ellistree has an assortment of forms that she can change into, each giving her special abilities unique to each form:
- Cat Form: Ellistree can shift into a feral cat, gaining the ability to stealth, sprint, pounce, take less damage from heights, and gaining boosts in agility, speed and damage.

She still moonlighted for the Horde, but most of her mission had always been for the Alliance.
Character PERSONALITY:
